Time slabs for issue of passports under Tatkal Scheme
Following fee and the delivery schedule for the Indian passports and additional booklets comes into force w.e.f.

Issue of Fresh passport
(first time passport)

(a) 15 calendar days from the date of application


(b) 8-14 calendar days from the date of application

(c) 1-7 calendar days from the date of application

2) R 600 (Jumbo) as per existing rates

Issue of passport in lieu of lost / damaged passport

(a) 8 calendar days from the date of application

(b) 1-7 calendar days from the date of application

2) R 1680 (Jumbo)

2) R 1680 + R 1104 (Jumbo)

III

Passport renewal after expiry of 10/20 years validity

(a) 4 working days from the date of application

(b) 1-3 working days from the date of application
