Cultural Programes
Besides organizing various cultural programmes in different cities of KwaZulu Natal, Eastern Cape & Free State by visiting artistes from India, the Cultural Centre also organizes talks, discourses & lectures by eminent personalities, dance and music workshops etc. Admission to all cultural programmes is free of charge to the interested persons, who should inform the Centr about their attendance in advance.
Dance & Music Classes
The Cultural Centre also conducts regular classes to teach Indian dance and music by qualified tutors. Kum. Ambigay teaches Bharatanatyam and Smt. Swati Kulkarni teaches Hindustani vocal music at present.
New courses begin in January every year.
Library
The Indian Cultural Centre has a library of more than 3700 titles on a variety of subjects. These books are available for reference purpose only. It also receives Indian newspapers and magazines/periodicals which are kept in the reading room.
